1. Shipping within Germany
We deliver within Germany under the following shipping terms:
Free shipping
For orders with a goods value of €2,000.00 or more, delivery within Germany is free of charge.
The relevant value is the goods value after the deduction of any granted discounts and before the calculation of shipping costs.
Shipping costs for a goods value under €2,000.00
- Parcel shipping up to 30 kg: €8.90 incl. statutory VAT.
- Freight forwarding or truck shipping over 30 kg: €59.00 incl. statutory VAT.
The shipping costs mentioned include statutory VAT.
Regardless of weight, shipping by a freight forwarder may be necessary for goods that are particularly bulky, sensitive, or unsuitable for parcel shipping due to their nature. The shipping method applicable to the respective item will be indicated during the ordering process or on the relevant item page.
2. Parcel shipping
Goods suitable for parcel shipping are generally delivered by a parcel service provider commissioned by us to the delivery address specified by the customer.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address when placing the order.
If delivery is not possible due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer, the customer may be charged for any actual additional costs incurred, provided the customer is responsible for the failed delivery and the statutory requirements for this are met.
3. Freight forwarding and truck deliveries
Heavy, bulky machines and goods that are unsuitable for parcel shipping due to their nature are delivered by freight forwarder or truck.
Unless otherwise stated in the respective offer or expressly agreed, delivery is made:
free house, but unloaded.
"Free house" means that we cover the transport costs to the agreed delivery address.
Specifically, the following are not part of the standard delivery:
- Unloading of the goods
- Provision of a forklift, crane, or other lifting equipment
- Moving into buildings, workshops, or production halls
- Transport within a property or building
- Setting up the machine
- Assembly
- Electrical or other connection
- Commissioning
- Instruction or training
If any of these services are offered and requested by the customer, they must be expressly agreed upon before delivery.
4. Unloading for freight forwarding and truck deliveries
For deliveries indicated as "free house, unloaded," unloading must generally be organized by the recipient.
The customer must ensure that at the announced or agreed delivery time:
- a person authorized to receive the goods is present,
- sufficient personnel are available for unloading, and
- suitable unloading and lifting equipment is available.
Depending on the weight and dimensions of the machine, this may specifically require:
- Forklift
- Crane
- Suitable lifting equipment
- Pallet truck
- Suitable loading ramps, or
- Appropriately qualified personnel.
A lifting platform, forklift truck, crane, or other unloading aid is only included in the delivery if this has been expressly agreed with us in advance.
The requirements for unloading should therefore be checked before ordering or, at the latest, before the agreed delivery date, especially for heavy machinery.
5. Prerequisites for delivery
The customer must ensure that the specified delivery address is accessible safely and without extraordinary obstacles by the vehicle intended for delivery.
For freight forwarding and truck deliveries, it is essential that:
- roads and access routes are sufficiently wide,
- required clearance heights are present,
- access routes and traffic areas are sufficiently load-bearing,
- gates and entrances are sufficiently dimensioned, and
- sufficient maneuvering space is available.
If special local measures are required for delivery, for example:
- access permits,
- special permits,
- road closures,
- no-parking zones,
- unloading permits, or
- other official permits,
these must be organized by the customer in good time, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
If an agreed delivery cannot be carried out due to circumstances for which the customer is responsible, any actual additional costs incurred may be charged in accordance with statutory regulations.
This may include, for example, costs for:
- additional waiting times,
- a renewed delivery attempt,
- return transport, or
- necessary interim storage.
are included.
6. Notification for freight forwarding deliveries
For freight forwarding and truck shipments, a notification by telephone, SMS, or e-mail may take place before delivery.
The customer should therefore provide a telephone number and e-mail address when ordering where they can be reached to coordinate the delivery.
A notification with a specific time window is only provided if offered by the respective transport service provider or expressly agreed.
7. Transport damage and shortages
Please check the delivery upon receipt, if possible, for externally visible damage and obvious shortages.
If packaging or goods are visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend:
- noting the damage on the freight bill or delivery note,
- having the driver confirm the damage if possible,
- taking photos of the packaging and goods, and
- informing us of the damage as soon as possible.
This cooperation makes it easier for us to process damage claims with the transport service provider.
Important for consumers
The above instructions do not constitute a prerequisite for the statutory warranty or other rights of consumers. The consumer’s statutory claims are not limited by failing to report damage to the carrier or to us.
Note for business customers
If the purchase is a commercial transaction for both contracting parties, the statutory obligations to inspect and give notice of defects, in particular in accordance with § 377 HGB (German Commercial Code), remain unaffected.
8. Partial deliveries
We are entitled to make partial deliveries if this is reasonable for the customer.
If we initiate partial deliveries, the customer will not incur any additional shipping costs.
The transfer of risk for deliveries to consumers is governed by statutory provisions.
9. Delivery times
The delivery time applicable to the respective item is stated on the corresponding product page or during the ordering process.
Delivery times are generally stated in working days from Monday to Friday. Statutory holidays at the place of shipment or delivery may affect the delivery time accordingly.
For orders of multiple items with different delivery times, the goods may be shipped either together or in multiple partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for the customer.
In the case of a partial delivery, the customer will not incur any additional shipping costs, provided it was initiated by us.
For freight forwarding and truck deliveries, additional appointment coordination with the transport service provider may occur within the stated delivery time.
10. Self-collection
If self-collection has been agreed for the respective order, collection is possible from our warehouse.
Collection may only take place after the customer has received a collection confirmation from us.
For heavy or bulky machines, the person collecting is responsible for providing a vehicle suitable for the:
- weight,
- dimensions, and
- nature of the goods.
The person collecting is also responsible for proper load securing in accordance with statutory regulations.
If special equipment is required for loading, this should be coordinated with us before collection.
11. Deliveries outside Germany
Deliveries outside Germany are only made to the countries explicitly offered in the online shop.
The shipping costs for the respective delivery country are displayed to the customer in the online shop before completing the order.
For countries not offered as delivery countries in the online shop, an individual quote may be requested if applicable. In this case, shipping will only take place after a separate agreement.
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional:
- customs duties,
- import VAT,
- fees, or
- other public charges
may apply.
Unless otherwise required by law, such charges are not levied by us and must be paid by the recipient to the relevant authorities or bodies.
12. Meaning of "free house"
If a delivery is referred to as "free house," this refers exclusively to the assumption of the agreed transport costs to the delivery address.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, a "free house" delivery does not include:
- unloading,
- moving into the building,
- transport to the final installation site,
- setup,
- assembly,
- installation,
- connection,
- commissioning, or
- instruction.
For heavy machinery, we recommend checking before ordering which unloading and transport equipment is available at the delivery location.
13. Statutory rights
The customer's statutory rights in the event of defects, delay in delivery, or other performance disruptions remain unaffected by these shipping and delivery terms.
For consumers, the mandatory statutory provisions regarding consumer goods purchases apply in particular.
